About Barbara Hoefener, FNP : Barb has master of nursing from Emory University and holds an ANCC nationally certification as a family nurse practitioner.Â
​ For the past 3 years Barb has been working independently in a small internal medicine practice with her own patients of varying complexity. Top diagnosis of treatment include:  Heart Failure, AFib, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, COPD, Asthma Stroke, Seizures, Dementia, Thyroid disorder, Kidney disease, Diabetes, Liver disease, PTSD, Addiction, ADHD, low testosterone, vaginal issues, incontinence, acute care, and much more. ​ Barb has worked in the Emergency Department, nursing home, The Shepherd Center (brain and spinal injury hospital), volunteered with kids with disabilities (MS, MD, DS, Autism) and free clinics. In the past was a massage therapist and clinic instructor. I have most recently helped open and run a positive COVID shelter for the un-housed locally and am President of Lane County NP Association. I love to travel, garden, walk my dog, and help people be the best they can be. ​ Barb's Schooling: Master of Nursing/ FNP from Emory University in 2016. Bachelor of Nursing from Emory 2014.
